I don’t suppose there’s a solution to it. I use search.trom.tf which cycles through a list of SearXNG instances, but some of them retrieve results that literally look like they belong to another query. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have. There was a period of time all of my results were in chinese.
Yeah, I’ve gotten different langs even when specifying
en-us
! Just rerunning the query through TROM Search to try up to a few other instances solves the trick, though.Use quotes, also have you enabled the bing engine? https://github.com/searxng/searxng/issues/4964
It’s not my instance; TROM Search cycles through a list of other people’s instances. I’ll try quotes, though, thanks!
Okay, so quotes do nothing, sadly:<img alt="" src="https://programming.dev/pictrs/image/76140e51-e743-4c10-b224-b91ab45e8cca.jpeg">
