I used it mostly for editing images (removing/adding details, putting text and translating mangas), but sometimes I’d also doodle.

Turns out I need GPS to use it.

Krita is probably the best choice as long as you’re using a tablet. I don’t believe it’s usable on a phone, though.

I was actually referring to the UI being too small to be usable, but that seems like a pretty big problem too. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of open source image editors that are in active development on Android.

No, no, I don’t need image editors, I just need a drawing tool with layers and the insert image skill. (I looked for it on fdroid and couldnt find any)

I was using image editor as a kind of generic term. Either way there really aren’t many options.

By the way, did you get Krita from their website or F-Droid? The version on the website is newer, so if you haven’t already tried that version you could try it as a last ditch effort.

From F-Droid. You said Krita was for tablets, so I doubt the newer version will work on mobile anyway.
