This is horrible! No one should definitely do this!

I glad the word is getting out, finally we can see for ourselves exactly how this crime is committed so we know what not to do in the future. Knowledge is power.

Damn, Septic Sam won out, rip Sean

And all the onlookers suddenly become Skyrim guards… must have been the wind

Is a criminal to a criminal really a hero? Does a double negative become a positive? I think so.

systemglitch@lemmy.world on 27 Jul 04:50 next collapse

Criminals is the wrong word for soldiers of decency.

Wilco@lemmy.zip on 27 Jul 05:02 next collapse

The people taking down flock cameras are heroes not criminals.

Blurntout@lemmy.ca on 27 Jul 13:16 next collapse

If you can’t taste the sarcasm in this video the tism is strong in you ❤️

Signtist@bookwyr.me on 27 Jul 23:27 collapse

The people taking them dawn are heroes and criminals. “Criminal” just means they’re not aligned with the law, not that they’re in some way immoral. In a country as corrupt as this, it’s a title to be worn proudly.

mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca on 27 Jul 05:12 next collapse

I thought flock wasn’t taking down the cameras?

CubitOom@infosec.pub on 27 Jul 05:46 collapse

Actually, it would be extremely lucrative if flock was the people cutting down the cameras, wiping them, and selling them back to the user/municipality at the replacement cost stated in the contract, and using Antifa as a cover.

Brkdncr@lemmy.world on 27 Jul 05:47 next collapse

I can’t take this person seriously. So thirsty for attention.

greenbit@lemmy.zip on 27 Jul 07:52 next collapse

So criminals are doing it the same way as non-criminals?

RabbitBBQ@lemmy.world on 27 Jul 07:52 next collapse

Flock cameras are probably less than 1% of the total surveillance state (that needs to be dismantled)

Duamerthrax@lemmy.world on 27 Jul 23:59 collapse

Start with the low hanging fruits.

FreddiesLantern@leminal.space on 27 Jul 13:30 next collapse

I thought the criminals are the ones putting those things up there?

Weird.

I hate both short form and vertical videos, but in this case I’ll make an exception.

*Heroes not Criminals

How heros are taking down private spy network cameras that cops use to stalk people

socsa@piefed.social on 27 Jul 22:23 next collapse

A grinder will cut through a steel pole like that so much faster than a recip.

Duamerthrax@lemmy.world on 27 Jul 23:56 next collapse

A carbide saw blade is even faster. Just get a battery powered saw meant for them. They spin at a different speed from the wood cutting saws.

modus@lemmy.world on 28 Jul 03:31 collapse

A 3d printed 22LR pistol would be faster. Print a suppressor too.

Sir_Premiumhengst@lemmy.world on 28 Jul 00:12 next collapse

Good thing I now know what to be aware of.

How do you know they’re criminals?

Leviathan@lemmy.world on 28 Jul 05:06 next collapse

Revolutionary hero**

Not a criminal.

IAMgROOT@lemmy.wtf on 28 Jul 16:50 collapse

It’s way easier just take a hammer, smash the lens, or spray paint the lens and then remove only the camera

remove the battery

take it somewhere thats NOT your home, and press the button on the back enough times, and you enable adb

now you have a flock pc, which you can customize to remove the spyware through adb and do anything u want

CubitOom@infosec.pub on 28 Jul 17:10 collapse

Idk if that’s easier, most flock cameras are up pretty high.

IAMgROOT@lemmy.wtf on 28 Jul 18:19 collapse

oh, I just took the one in the video as an example, srry

you could do this after cutting the pole too
