Does Mailbox.org support having separate custom domain accounts and @mailbox.org addresses? Contemplating switch from Kolabnow

I’d want to split them up so I can let the mails that go to @mailbox.org, be received by a different inbox than my custom domain email. Is this possible?
I’m currently paying for two different email providers, 1 for my custom domain and 1 for the rest (KolabNow). I’d like to reduce my costs and streamline this a bit. Didn’t really know where to post though so I’m trying here.

I have firstname@lastname.tld and a firstname.lastname@mailbox.org address.
What I do is, on mailbox.org I can filter incoming emails by the recipient and filter one of them to a subfolder of the inbox. It’s not exactly the same, as two seperate inboxes but close enough for my use case.
Hmm ok. The “issue” is that I want my general @mailbox.org addresses to be pseudo-anonymous. I don’t really have an issue with Mailbox.org knowing my first or last name, as they’ll have my credit card information, anyway, but I’d like to avoid any external ways of being able to connect my custom domain email with the mailbox.org email addresses. Maybe my worries are irrelevant?
I dont see how an outside observer can see that both mails lead to the same mailbox, but I’m not really an expert on the subject. They can almost definitely see that they both go to mailbox.org, but beyond that it’s mailbox’s problem where to put the mail AFAIK (pls no quoting)
For what its worth I also have a pseudonymous mailbox.org address I use with the same inbox.
Fair. I think it sounds reasonable!
The question is, why do you pay for the kolabnow email?
Do you need an additional anonymous email? Or are you using it as a client to manage your custom emails?
I’d like to try something cheaper than KolabNow but still good, and at the same time combine my both email providers. So I’d like to have the ones with my custom domain on it be my front-facing public e-mail, and the others be for random sites and stuff.
so you use kolabnow to host your custom domains?
I’m sure mailbox.org’s security is just as good as any other mail provider but these days there are so many database breaches that you need to consider (with every service that you use) what the impact would be to you if that association became public through some kind of database leak.
You can have both, but they go to the same inbox. At least, I haven’t tried having separate inboxes without separate accounts.
That being said, it’s easy to set up filters to folders based on the domain or email.
