In a support note, Discord says the chatbot will be “deactivated” at the end of the month, and that by December 1st “users will no longer be able to invoke Clyde in DMs, Group DMs or server chats.”

Messed with it a bit and it still thought Queen Elizabeth was the current reigning monarch in the UK.
If it's a ChatGPT wrapper then its knowledge cutoff is 2021 and this is normal.

I did a few times. Clyde was fun for a few funny messages but that's about it.
Having an AI bot is a litigation liability.
Which chat bot sensors the least and has decent quality?
Look into the self hosted ones. No business is going to have chatbots that give you unfiltered results.

Having never heard of this nor read the article, I assume it was the 2020's equivalent of the old AIM chatbots that were amusing to talk to for 11 seconds before realizing you had better shit to do.
Clyde will come back as a nitro exclusive feature. I guarantee it
