IVPN just updated their tiers. I’ve connected to IVPN dashboard today and realised that my Pro plan migrated to Pro Suite, now including modDNS (NextDNS alternative), MailX (email aliasing), and Portmaster Pro (which is new for me and quite interesting, I’m exploring the app on Linux).

Device limit also bumped from 7 to 10. Solid value add for existing and new subscribers.

I love their service, kudos to IVPN team!

Why have an article about port forwarding and P2P network and linking the TOS about how it’s against IVPN’s rules?

You will not use our service for receiving and distributing pirated copyright materials. This includes, but is not limited to the following activities: trading, selling, bartering, sharing, transmitting or receiving, of such materials.

That’s dumb :/

Because torrenting is not a technology exclusively dedicated to piracy.

You’re right, but let’s be honest: it may as well be.

Sure, but piracy is probably how most people use the P2P network… When was the last time you used torrenting for something legal? :/

But what ever… This is the privacy sub…

I never used torrenting for anything illegal lol. The last I used it was to download Linux Mint ISO, before Brave removed Webtorrent from their browser 🙄

Because it’s plausible to keep using it that way, and because they are protecting their asses
