never tried it, but it looks simple enough–paste a phone number into whatever you’re signing up for and see if it gets a SMS. just remember that bogus temp phone numbers might be accessible by anyone–don’t make any “real” non-throwaway accts with it
I have never had one of these things work for me. Wasted considerable time on it.
Yeah everyone does now. Even fucking gitlab demanded my phone number and credit card.
Not really they always get your IP address.

For instagram I use imginn
There used to be a few more, even open source ones like bibliogram, but meta is quite aggressive in fighting them.
I use www.captureinsta.com, but it has google verification.
picuki.com for insta, but I don’t have any idea for Face
For instagram there is also instuky.com
