But would have make more sense to just turn it off. Here they removed it completely.
According to article, the reason is that they can’t make their memory writing as fast as other memory chips that have MTE (for example apple’s).
Yea more overhead with secure chips. But they can do it ofc, they have done it so far. They choose not to, and in last minute without any heads up.
