According to a complaint filed by the U.S. Justice Department, following a referral from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Disney allegedly failed to tag kid-directed videos on YouTube as “Made for Kids” (MFK), a label that instructs YouTube to block personal data collection and stop displaying personalized ads on correctly designated content to protect children’s privacy.

Literally street change for them
Kinda funny they probably have a huge department with a huge budget made specifically for YouTube and whoever was handling uploading stuff failed to tick a box lol
I wouldn’t be surprised if they have managers and assistant managers, with junior vice managers and branch assistant junior vice executive managers, with some millions of budget for market research and ads, and it was the unpaid internship guy that handled the YT acc though
That’s all?
Good things Zootopia two just made $1 billion dollars. Otherwise, they might not be able to afford that fine.
Pocket change to make their self-inflicted injuries go away.
So the Trump DOJ is inoculating Disney from future complaints on the same issue for chump change?
(Because this cannot be re-litigated by the next DOJ, or citizens.)
