Low battery notifications and power off at a certain percentage for LineageOS?

I’ve recently put LineageOS on my phone. Two things I really miss from the stock ROM are low battery notifications starting at 10% and powering off at 3% with a loud noise 30 seconds prior so I can rush to charge the phone before it shuts down. Currently with Lneage it just silently dies at 0%.

How do I add those missing features to Lineage? I know this should be possible with Tasker or the like, but maybe there’s a cleaner way?

I think low battery notifications should be part of AOSP, so they should be in all Android flavors. So the fact that you don’t have them seems odd to me.

Personally, I’m using an app called BatteryBot from FDroid. It doesn’t do much, but what it does allow you to do is set notifications at custom battery percentages. So I have it set to send an alert and vibrate my phone when it gets below 30% and then I plug it in and charge it up to 80% where the system has been set to stop charging it and I get another alert once it hits 80%. Well, okay, to be fair, I have it set to go off at 80%, but it does not go off until it’s above 80%, so I have the phone charged to 81%, and it doesn’t go off at 30%. It goes off when the charge drops below 30%, so it goes off at 29%.

I’ll try it out, thanks!

I was using f-droid.org/en/…/codes.swistak.batterymonitor/ because it worked reliably while others were a bit buggy for me.

Thanks! Looks pretty solid. But no power-off at a certain threshold

Your “battery saver” should notify you at the configured threshold. You can customize the notification when it is in your notification tray if you need an attention grabber.

I don’t know of a stock method in LOS for choosing power-off at a configured threshold, so the other comments’ recommendation for apps could be useful.

Edit: typo

Thanks! Battery saver does notify me, but it’s not an urgent notification
