how to move to hardlinks with radarr?

Radar copies files from the download folder to the final destination. I stop seeding and delete files from the download folder after 3 months.I’d love to seed them forever but don’t want to keep both files.

How do I switch to hardlinks? It’s easy from nowon but what about the old files?

Moreover, there’s unpackarr for the packed files.

I recently wrote a script which finds duplicate files and hard links them. I can share it with you, though there are no guarantees of it’s safety. There are probably better already established tools out there.

Keep in mind that the hardlink and the source file need to exist within the same filesystem.
