Is there a way to restrict access to Google services on a Google account?

I need Google for the cloud contacts storage (I’m an Android user and need a Google account for the Play Store anyway, since I use proprietary mandatory bank apps anyway and music apps I use are proprietary too and Aurora Store never works for me). For example, I don’t have a gmail, because I made the account with my proton email, and I know my work google account had the drive completely blocked. Nonetheless, drive isn’t the aspect I’m interested in. I want to completely block YouTube from my account itself, rather than browser. Is this possible? I cannot even find people asking for this. I can delete my history from YouTube, but I cannot remove YouTube as a service from the account. I thought the EU laws were supposed to somehow restrict this, given how Instagram refuses to release Threads in EU because of them, but perhaps I misunderstood. I’ll appreciate the help!

Use Google account advance protection, that’ll lock down your account extremely.

Use a separate Google account for the Play store, and use a different Google account for your contact storage. Isolate the contact storage completely into a single account that does nothing else.

You can’t disable YouTube at the Google level, but you can disable the app on your phone. You can block the domain through your DNS, through your VPN, or through your local router.
