Originally, I had planned on seeing this anime while playing the actual Virtua Fighter games because they were all released at the time.
First episode: Akira is a lovable goofball with an appetite for dumplings while Pai Chan is a temperamental girl who ends up getting accidentally kissed by him and by the time Akira finishes rescuing her she gets chased around by Akira with even more fresh-made dumplings.
They were both in a Chinatown restaurant.
I think Yu Suzuki created this and the Shenmue anime to promote the games he developed.
Thoughts?

I’ve watched through a couple times. I he even own the physical realease. Decent anime a for one based off of a fighting series. To my knowledge, Yu Suzuki didn’t do much on the series.
Yeah…though I actually posted this because Virtua Fighter, a fighting game by Sega, just so happens to have an anime I tried to watch.
Sega is video game brand I would like to keep alive (both the hardware and software) but that’s another community and another topic.
I posted because I played the original game.
