Is there any anime that depicts a doomer? Welcome to NHK is the closest I can think of with the hikikomori main character.

I feel like Gantz gives has doomer vibes. A lot of mid 2000s anime does though.

Gantz fits. Maybe moreso the manga. The ending of Pluto also feels kind of doomerish? Or maybe thats just depression.

Really? It does have a soundtrack that consists of two entire discs. But it’s been a while so I don’t remember the series in detail that well.

I've watched a little over half of the show...it has some music, but much of it is pretty ambient. Maybe there is more music in the latter half.
