What is similar? Does it need to be a band anime? Does it require social anxiety characters? Just cute girls doing cute things (CGDCT) in general? Have yuri elements?
edit: I personally donât think that Bocchi the Rock! is super laid back, but if you compare it to action shows it obviously is. If you really want to go the laid back route you can look into the genre Iyashikei (âhealing typeâ) with anime such as Non Non Biyori, Yuru Camp (still have to watch this one so canât verify personally but is very popular) and Yokohama Kaidaishi Kikou (absolute classic).
.
You are probably referring to Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. There are a lot of SOL anime so I got to choose something. Personally I think it is pretty good but not as good as some other anime that I would recommend over it. As well as the fact that Bocchi the Rock has a mostly female cast so I unconsciously selected anime that are similar in that regard. If OP wants to try something with a large male cast this is the only anime I can think of that would be fitting so itâs good that you mention it.
Do you mean âOuran High School Host Clubâ, because I immediately thought that when I see this.
.
Yup, thatâs the one.
I would also add Welcome To The NHK to the list of SOL with anxious characters. That show is amazing.
Student Council Discretion. It actually has two seasons and an ending
@DoucheBagMcSwag Thanks! I'll check it out.
Also I canât understand what my husband is saying
Very short series about a 10/10 wife who married an Otaku way out of his fuckin league but she loves him and his Otaku hobbies. The running joke is that she is not an Otaku and canât understand his hyper focused ramblings. Each episode is only a few minutes and completely worth a watch. And yesâŚit has an endingâŚat least and ending in my book
Super Cub
Bofuri: I didnât want to get hurt so I maxed out my defense
Yuru camp
Out of curiosity: is Bocchi the Rock the first anime you watched that is not action-focused and has no monsters or extraterrestrial/extradimensional invaders?
As for my recommendation (but itâs really a shot in the dark, given the scarce detail you provided), thereâs an older anime called âhitoribocchi something somethingâ (Iâm too lazy too look up the name) that I remember being pretty funny.
Hitori-bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu.
